Welcome to Tutorial Express

My name is Hai Ho. As a graduate student of Health Informatics, I am learning how medical advances, some involving computers, improved communication systems, and data analysis can aid clinicians and healthcare providers in delivering improved health care. In the hospital or medical center, there are many different departments which have different systems and software to executive their activities for registration, orders, results, billing, and documentation, etc. For example, the Laboratory Department may use Labsoft; the Radiology Department may use the Radiology Information System (RIS) including Syngo Workflow and PACS; the Emergency Department may use T system; Surgery may use Operating Room Schedulers software; and the Next Gen EHR can be used for outpatient workflows, etc. Some of these applications must connect and work together in the whole big system. Although the Health Information System (HIS) has many benefits, it is complex and a challenge to use. This is the reason why the website "Tutorial Express" was designed. It will support the clinicians, healthcare workers, and healthcare organizations with the technology, and the utilization of that technology, and help solve issues.  It also communicates to clients a better understanding of the healthcare workflow. We are here to support and listen to you! Together we will make the healthcare system better. Thank You!
